Good evening and good move steemians! May today bring happiness in our lives and better than yesterday. On this occasion I returned again with an interesting article for me to share with my friends steemians. This article I dedicate also to the writing contest organized by @minnowhelper.
In writing this time I want to share knowledge about master of camouflage, there are several types of animals that have camouflage ability such as locusts, flower mantis, leaf locusts and leaf insects. A series of animals that can camouflage the above mentioned are animals belonging to the category of insects, but in this paper I want to share information about animals that can camouflage from the reptile class, one of them is Chameleon.

The chameleon is very easy to find, because this reptile is spread almost all over the country, with its various species and species, chameleons can be found in shade trees, bushes or garden-gardens. It's just that sometimes we do not realize that there is a chameleon, or planted bushes. This is because animals that have the scientific name Bronchocela jubata has a unique ability that is camouflage ability.
This ability to camouflage makes chameleons one of the trendy reptile classes, favored by reptile lovers, as the capabilities of this chameleon include a unique skill.

This chameleon can change its skin color in some colors, sometimes the chameleon we meet is exactly like the color of wood, or green like a leaf and some are colored in tune with the tree that he occupies, this skin color change is called camouflage.
There are several reasons for this reptile to camouflage, the first reason being that these insect animals are sheltering from another predatory attack that is eyeing his life, the second reason on the contrary, the chameleon is eyeing his prey, the third reason for being moody.
The chameleon is able to change almost any color, this is because chameleons have a special pigment called chromatophores, thanks to this pigment chameleon being a unique reptile with the ultimate camouflage ability. The red and yellow pigments are located on the outer layers of the skin, while the inside chromatophores of the chameleon are blue and white. When these pigment cells get a message from the brain, the chameleon's skin turns to the same color as the tree or plant that he comes to, which is unique in that chameleon skin color changes only occur within 20 seconds.

In addition to being able to camouflage it turns out that this reptile also has exceptional vision ability, the chameleon is able to roll its eyes up to 3600 (three hundred and sixty degrees) separately to monitor the surrounding state at the same time with a fairly large focus distance of about 10 meters from where he is.
Another uniqueness that is owned by the chameleon is located on the tongue. The tongue is the main weapon the chameleon possesses to capture its prey even from a considerable distance, this is because the chameleon's tongue is twice the size of its body (excluding the tail) at a speed of 0.07 seconds.
