Intro to Worship

Hi there! I'm Dan and I am starting this blog on Steemit entitled, "Worship Community," because worship is one of the most important aspects of Christian lifestyle. I also wanted to emphasize community because I believe our spiritual lives can be greatly encouraged through community of believers. "As iron sharpens iron..." (Prov 27:17)

Although music is only one of the expressions of worship to our God, I choose to emphasize the practice of worshiping through music as well as leading worship for the corporate body. I would like to also journal the spiritual aspect of worship through knowledge of God through the Scriptures. I am starting this blog with the intention of encouraging the worldwide body of Christ to pursue a lifestyle of worship.

As Pastor John Piper once aptly stated, "Missions exist because worship doesn't." I believe a worship awakening movement will be instrumental in the coming revival and is helping fuel the missions movement globally. I would like to play a part(even if a small portion) in the preparation of the coming revival movement.
