WORLDSDAILYFOOD PHOTO CONTEST: ANYTHING GOES SUNDAY, MY ENTRY

This is my entry for today's Anything Goes Sunday Theme for the WORLD'SDAILYFOODS photo contest of @travelsbyblue

"UTAN BISAYA"

Location: Lapu-Lapu City

Yesterday we just stayed at home for my son and hubby were practicing how to navigate the drone to be use for the coming site investigation.

So, I cooked "utan bisaya" the simple veggie soup. We also called this "lunod - lunod" meaning just drop. After the water boiled I just dropped the hard veggie first like the pumpkin, then the moringa leaves then the soft veggies, lady's finger, white pumpkin, long green chile, onions and little salt to taste.

I was not satisfied with my cooking for no root crops like "gabi" and "Alugbati" and chili leaves.

I noticed here in Lapu-Lapu City's public market no one is selling chili leaves, moringa fruits, pumpkin leaves, string beans leaves and fern leaves or pako. Not like in Olongapo City even the young "camoteng kahoy" leaves is on sale.

But, speaking of seafoods...hmm, many kinds here but not available in Olongapo City, just comparing the two places I considered as my homeland.
