WORLDSDAILYFOOD PHOTO CONTEST | TUESDAY APPETIZER / SOUP ENTRY FOR FOOD PHOTO CHALLENGE

IT'S A TUESDAY APPETIZER OR SOUP TIME !!

If you have followed my journey on WorldsDailyFood, then you would know that I enjoy my work very much indeed. Reason being is that I'm able to enjoy good food all around me; at least once a while. Prepared by well known or talented chefs from all around the world; that's something to be proud off.

In this one occasion, I had the opportunity to attend a ballroom event which was organized by the Vietnam Tourism Council in Saigon. This was about 3 months back when I was still employed by the previous company. During this event, a team of highly qualified chefs were brought in from Japan & Hanoi to assist in the preparation of a 5 course set dinner.

Here I have is the first course :
i) Sugarcane shrimp with lotus wrapped with fresh herbs and rice noodles
ii) Crispy crab roll with lotus roots and passion fruit dipping sauce
iii) Seared U-10 scallop and summer lotus and cherry tomato in watermelon kaffir lime left martini

Look at just how exquisite this appetizer dish is. Isn't it an art of a true MasterChef ?
