Creating Short Story Week #3 I asked myself, in quite a worried way...if I perhaps had made an error
Professional fx facepaint - that's why I had said yes when she asked if she could do body paint.
I also said yes because I had bought it, used it and didn't like it. So it was fine if she destroyed it.
But my mom-brain had forgotten.
It was when she was already blue from head to waist and standing in the shower I remembered.
This audio popped into my head "I just now, internally asking myself, in quite a worried way..if I perhaps had made an error"
it was Not coming off.
The soap just smeared it out.
My mom-brain had somehow forgotten that the reason I didn't like it was...
it needed a special remover.
She was dark-blue and sparkled.
It took a lot of deep breaths and 3 days of showers to get her back to her regular pink colour.
She did sparkle for another week though.
I liked your style, direct and reflective.
A secret: sometimes I have wanted to paint myself blue.
