Painkiller costing $138 sounds surreal enough. :)

Some medicine that people would die without could cost tens of thousands a month in Usa thanks to price gouging.

This is like what we saw with Martin Shkreli the founder and chief executive of Turing Pharmaceuticals did with Daraprim. That got him a few years in prison.

And just like with Daraprim this dublin company says it has programs to ensure that commercially-insured patients have access "at an affordable price".

I no more believe this than the crook that owned and ran Turing.

These people are pure evil if you ask me.
They define "Corporate Greed"

Shkreli was a small fish. There was this company that focused on buying other drug producers that had developed cure no other company were selling, after doing that they upped the prices to the skies, literally. They did this over and over again and even Wall Street got involved. Their stock rose sharply but soon skeletons started to show up from drawers. I think their stock price was over 200 at highest point and is now down to 6 dollars or so. Don't remember the name of the company, but I learned this from dirty money-series from Netflix. It was just pure greed playing with peoples lives. Crazy. You should look the episode up if you want your blood to boil.
