Mo Salah Faces Late Fitness Test Ahead Of Crucial Russia Encounter
Egyptian star Mo Salah has been in a test for recovery or an injury sustained during champions league finals in may.
The Liverpool forward got a dislocation on his shoulder during a challenge with Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos and needed three weeks to recover, this put his world cup appearance in doubt.
Will Mo Salah Play Against Russia Tonight?
On Sunday Mo Salah's agent confirmed that the striker will be fit to play against Russia today.
This statement was supported by the Egyptian Football Asociation, Manager Hector Cuper at pre-match conference said the striker is fit.
However, there is a caveat: Mo Salah will be subject to a late fitness test ahead of the game, and should he not pass that, he will not play any part.
That was the same scrutiny he undergo during the opening fixture against Uruguay, evidently his fitness failed and he missed Uruguay match the manager added.
Egyptian fan will be anticipating for a positive result from that fitness, the Pharoahs' attack is not complete without their key player.
