World Cup Craziness is Finally Over

What can I say after all these games Croatia showed the world we were capable of, we are all spent, the whole country is celebrating like never before. After so many beers, tears and nail biting matches we ended up on 2nd place in the World Cup, this is the best result in Croatian sports history. We had some awesome winners like Goran Ivanišević Wimbeldon win, Janica Kostelić, 1992 National Basketball team, Handball Olympic games win, and so many more, but nothing can be compared with the football(soccer) World Cup 2nd place. World Cup is another brand new level and the most watched sports event on the planet.

When the whole world roots for your team, even though their teams dropped out before, you know you did something great. Even though we lost the finals, it's how we got there is how we won the hearts of every football fan everywhere. The French were very happy after that win, but I can honestly say the Croatians were celebrating like we won. It is something never seen before, and I doubt it will ever happen again. What an amazing achievement, also big congrats to Luka Modrić for his best player of the World Cup reward, if any player in the history of football deserved it more it is him. Now it is time to cool off and rest, the players and the whole country.
