Allez les Bleus! Watching the final game and celebrating in Paris - (Fotos + Videos) (EN/DE/ESP)

Yesterday France defeated Croatia in an action-packed final to claim the FIFA World Cup title in Moscow. As I already told you in my last post I am in Paris right now, so I prepared like anybody else to watch the finals and have a big party afterwards.

I am German so most of all I tried to enjoy the last minutes as world cup champion until a new team would win, but as my girlfriend is French and I am in Paris I didn't have much of a choice than for being with France at this final match. ;)

Gestern besiegte Frankreich Kroatien in einem packenden Finale und holte sich somit in Moskau zum zweiten mal in der Geschichte den Titel. Wie ich euch bereits in meinem letzten Post berichtet habe, bin ich gerade in Paris, also habe ich mich wie jeder andere hier auf das Finale vorbereitet und danach richtig gefeiert.

Als Deutsche war meine erste Priorität die letzten Minuten als Weltmeister zu genießen, bis der Titel ganz offiziell an ein anderes Team gehen würde, aber da meine Freundin Französin ist und ich in Paris bin, hatte ich keine große Wahl, als mit Frankreich mitzufiebern bei diesem grossen Finale. ;)

Ayer, Francia derrotó a Croacia en una final llena de acción para reclamar el título de la Copa Mundial de la FIFA en Moscú. Como ya les conté en mi última publicación, estoy en París, así que me preparé como todos los demás para ver la final y tener una gran fiesta después.

Soy alemána, así que sobre todo intenté disfrutar los últimos minutos como campeóna de la copa del mundo hasta que la ganara oficialmente un nuevo equipo, pero como mi novia es francesa y estoy en París, no tuve opción y tenía que gritar en lado de los franceses ;)

We were watching the game close to Nation at a bar in Paris together with many other Parisians and it was awesome.

The French team was playing really good and the people were celebrating already after the first halftime because France led 2-1 a Mario Mandzukic own goal and an Antoine Griezmann VAR penalty.

Wir haben das Spiel in der Nähe von Nation in einer Bar in Paris zusammen mit vielen anderen Parisern verfolgt und es war großartig.

Das französische Team spielte sehr gut und die Leute feierten bereits nach der ersten Halbzeit, denn Frankreich führte mit 2: 1 nach einem Eigentor von Mario Mandzukic und einem Elfmeter von Antoine Griezmann.

Estábamos viendo el juego cerca de Nation en un bar en París junto con muchos otros parisinos y fue increíble.

El equipo francés estaba jugando muy bien y la gente ya estaba celebrando después del primer medio tiempo porque Francia lideró 2-1 después de un gol propio de Mario Mandzukic y un penal de Antoine Griezmann VAR.

Every bar and café in Paris was just crowded by fans and the streets were empty! - Something I've never seen in a big city like Paris before.

But that changed fast once France won the game with 4:2 goals and received the wold cup 2018.

Jede Bar und jedes Café in Paris war nur von Fans überfüllt und die Straßen waren leer! - Etwas, das ich noch nie in einer Großstadt wie Paris gesehen habe.

Aber das änderte sich schnell, als Frankreich das Spiel mit 4: 2 Toren gewann und den World Cup 2018 erhielt.

¡Todos los bares y cafés de París estaban llenos de fanáticos y las calles estaban vacías! - Algo que nunca había visto en una gran ciudad como París.

Pero eso cambió rápidamente una vez que Francia ganó el juego con 4: 2 goles y recibió la Copa Mundial 2018.

People just ran on the street and started to celebrate after that. Of course we participated too ;)

Die Leute liefen direkt auf der Straße und begannen zu feiern. Natürlich haben wir da auch mitgemacht ;)

La gente simplemente corrió a la calle y comenzó a celebrar después de eso. Por supuesto que también participamos ;)

From there we started to walk like many other Parisians, to the biggest place close by. In our case that was "Place de la République" that was like 2 km away from us.

Von dort aus begannen wir, wie viele andere Pariser, zum nächst größten Ort in der Nähe zu gehen. In unserem Fall war das "Place de la République", 2 km von uns entfernt.

Desde allí comenzamos a caminar al lugar más grande cerca de allí, igual como muchos otros parisinos. En nuestro caso, era "Place de la République" que estaba a 2 km de nosotros.

The whole city was hosting a big party in every street by then. So we just kept on celebrating until we got to our final destination ;)

Die ganze Stadt verwandelte sich in eine einzige große Party. Also haben wir auf dem Weg einfach weiter gefeiert, bis wir unser Ziel erreichten ;)

Toda la ciudad era como una gran fiesta en cada calle para entonces. Así que seguimos celebrando hasta que llegamos a nuestro destino final ;)

When we finally got there the place was already crowded. People were climbing the statue, singing, dancing and partying, most of them already drunk of course. (-just like us haha)

Als wir endlich dort ankamen war der Platz schon voll. Die Leute kletterten auf die Statue, sangen, tanzten und feierten, die meisten waren natürlich schon betrunken. (uns eingeschlossen haha)

Cuando finalmente llegamos, el lugar ya estaba lleno de gente, que subía a la estatua, cantaba, bailaba y festejaba. La mayoría de ellos ya estaba borracha, por supuesto. (igual como nosotros jaja)

The whole city was celebrating.

Die ganze Stadt feierte.

Toda la ciudad estaba celebrando.

Over night the government changed even a few metro station names (temporary) to celebrate and welcome the team in Paris this afternoon!

Über Nacht änderte die Regierung sogar ein paar U-Bahn-Namen (vorübergehend), um das Team in Paris heute Nachmittag zu feiern und zu begrüßen!

¡Durante la noche el gobierno cambió algunos nombres de estaciones de metro (temporalmente) para celebrar y dar la bienvenida al equipo en París esta tarde!

For me it has been enough now. I will not go and welcome the team ;) It has been the second world champion celebration in 8 years - Last time in Munich, celebrating Germany ;)

Für mich war das gestern schon genug. Ich werde das Team heute nicht persönlich willkommen heißen ;) Es war die zweite Weltmeisterschaftsfeier in 8 Jahren - Das letzte Mal in München, als Deutschland gewonnen hat ;)

Para mí ha sido suficiente ahora. No iré y daré la bienvenida al equipo ;) Ha sido la segunda celebración del campeonato mundial en 8 años - La última vez en Munich, celebrando a Alemania ;)

So my full congratulations to France, the French team and the French people from the former world cup champion to the new one!
