Croacia por sus figuras debería quedar en el 2do lugar sin embargo se topan ante Islandia, un rival conocido y que los envió al repechaje previo al mundial en la cual los conoce. Nigeria típico equipo africano que emplea su rapidez como principal arma para atacar y hacer goles, trataran de meterse en la pelea para clasificar.
