India's long, hard journey to transform women's sports has reached a milestone

An expert panel launches Equal Hue project. The expert panel is composed of 5 members. These are Namrata Parekh (Cofounder 7 Director, Meraki), Deepthi Bipaiah [CEO, Go Sports Foundation], Sharda Ugra (“Renowned Sports Journalist”), Snehalpradhan ("Former Indian Cricketer) and Arshi Yasin (“CEO & co-founder, The Bridge). It will mark an important step in India's long and difficult journey to make women sports more inclusive.

The panelists are going to debate the Equal Hue' Report, which was created following five-year research. It proposes reforms and corrects inequalities that exist in India's game of cricket for women.

Experts will discuss some of the most important insights in the report, along with key figures and data. Experts will discuss the importance of the campaign "Equal Hue", with the goal of exchanging ideas and points of view.

It is also discussed how the future Equal Hue Cricket Excellence Scholarship Programme will be implemented. It will also be discussed how the Equal Hue initiative will benefit women's Cricket in India.

Snehal Pradah co-authored the Equal Hue' report that was commissioned and published by the Sports Law and Policy Centre. Karunya Kashav, a journalist and coauthor Of The Fire Burns Blue on Indian women's cricket history; and Sidhanta Patraik, coauthor Of The Fire.
