I simply dont think mere posession of anything should be a crime, certainly not a felony. Be it Heroin, weapons (espacialy bladed weapons which i hear are quite regulated in some US states and sadly there is no group of people in the US that defends the 2nd amendment even though it exists) or even childporn. Yes, the creation of CP involves abuse, but once it exists the only harm that it can really do is to the people who created it in the first place by someone recognising a place or a person - and its a lot easier to plant than drugs, someone could do that to you without even himself comitting a crime by being at a place where neither CP nor hacking is illegal (which does exist, in fact, there are places with no laws at all) - and by the way, it doesnt matter if you can proof it has been planted by a hacker, you are still in poession of it which is a crime.
