why does america have the worst internet when we invented it !!!!

Im no expert when it comes to computer tech or the internet . But it takes no genius to see that the ''inventors'' (U.S/ARPANET)of the internet (the world wide web)are giving us the shorter end of the stick.. With high prices and mediocre speeds at best. So why ? That is the question !! Just to name a few developed countries in the nation with internet that gets average speeds of 15 to 20 mbps with a fraction of the price .

For example south korea's average speed is 26.7mbps ranking them number 1 for the highest average speed in the nation, And i bet your thinking most likely there paying more for them 26mbps of service, and the answer is no in fact they pay only 1 tenth of what we pay for our basic service , thats 10 times more money we spend for a fraction of the speed.
(THATS AVERAGE SPEED NOT TOP SPEED)
So now that we know south korea's speeds are 8 times faster than ours whos next in line ? Sweden comes in second with an average speed of 19.1 mbps , third Norway 18.8 mbps , fourth Japan 17.4 mbps , starting to get the picture? So where do we fall in to this category you ask ? Well for us (CERN) the inventors of the world wide web (the U.S ARPANET) We come in ???????????
