The reality of the world today

The world we live in today is not the same as what it was fifty years ago.
Better? No. Worse? Possibly.
Now this is not a negative view on the world but it is a reality.
The reality that the world is sinking deeper and deeper into the abyss of depravity.
We are in a day and age where instead of helping a child to understand their gender and gender identity, we instead warp their mind into thinking they need to change their gender.
We live in a day and age where if someone is going to jump from a building we pull our phones out to record the devastation.
We live in a day and age where we live not through ourselves, but through our phones, our social media pages.
We live in a day and age where we wish to house and accommodate people from other countries when we still fail to house our own.
We live in a day and age where we are so impatient, so blinded by our own ignorance that we are willing to modify our body with microchips for convenience.
We live in a day and age where we still persecute people for their heritage, their religion, their culture and their gender.
We live in a world where we no longer see the painful truth for what it is and rather seek the comforting lies from our "leaders".
People. This. Is. Madness.
We are so numbed and desensitized to what goes on in the world today that we don't see the bigger picture.
We are lied to day in and day out on the fly by our local media such as CNN, Fox and so on and so forth.
These channels wish only to portray what their narrative is so as to sway the minds of the masses and to top it off, it is the most basic form of divide and conquer.
Just look at how they work.
Fox = Republican.
CNN = Democrat.
That in its self should answer a painfully obvious question.
Is it a selection or is it a election?
The answer is not the latter.
Nowadays we have more eye opening channels to access to tarnished by the fake news we have nowadays, channels such as Wearechange and Highimpactflix that are also on steemit.
I myself have heard from reliable sources that our own Army and Navy are told who to vote for.
How can they get away with it you ask? Quite simple really.
They can not tell someone who to vote for as it contrevenes civilian law, however the military are not civilian therefore no law is broken.
That in itself helps boost election votes by large majorities.
That shows a clear example of manipulation of the masses at it's finest.
There is so much at work in this world and so much of it is going to come into play in the very near future.
How far are we going to let this world sink? Only time will tell That is the reality of the world we live in today.
Whilst this has sounded negative, the positives come from those who are willing to make the change in whatever way, big or small.
Be it that you help a stranded stranger with car problems or offer a homeless person a night at your place for christmas and dinner. These moves whilst small can have the biggest effects.
