More Than 100 People Are Reported To Have Been Killed As a Tropical Storm Swept Through The Southern Philippines
With power cuts and the loss of communication lines, the people are having an extremely hard time reaching out to rescue teams.
From hurricanes to flooding, earthquakes to landslides, this year has seen some deadly natural disasters. Days before the new year, many lives are lost due to the storm in the Philippines.
I can't stress enough the amount of hurt and sadness that walks amongst us, and it's all across the globe. It is reported that more than 100 people have died in the tropical storm. Many more still searching for their loved ones, risking their own lives.
Even though the Philippines aren't strangers to deadly storms, Mindanao isn't often hit. A week ago, Tropical Storm Kai-Tak hit the central Philippines, killing dozens.
Very sad to hear this depressing sad..It reminds us again that we are nothing in front of nature.
