Appraisals of teachers for their contributions to the sanity and development of the world

The saying "No man is an island" is an indication that as human beings, we can never do it all alone. To become successful in our various specialties, we need the assistance of others either directly or indirectly. We need some people to teach us different things. All the knowledge we possess at different periods of our lives have been deposited into us by our teachers(This teachers includes our parents, school teachers, clergy, mentors, to name but a few), so you can never be wrong if you say teachers deserves numerous accolades.
I doff my hat to all teachers out there for doing a great job of installing values, principles, sanity and concepts to mankind. Even if you teach a small group of people a particular concept of great interest, you are developing the world in your own little way, because one or more out of that group of people can become someone of great standing in the society tomorrow and to have that knowledge that you as a teacher contributed to the development of such person is something to be proud of.

However, many people have bad opinion about pedagogy, perhaps because many of the teachers around us don't live a flamboyant life, teachers are known to live a modest life and thus the community see them as poor people. Many students even frown at the idea of accepting retainment for a teaching profession. Well, it isn't so surprising since so many students nowadays acts with respect to the usual myopic mentality of their communities. They always place money above every other things and failing to understand that the greatest contentment of teachers stems from the fact that they are impacting greatly in our world and that is so evident in breathtaking inventions, innovations, business structures and organizations and so on. Indeed, these are values that the world can't do without and it is in giving values that money is bound to come in abundance. Nowadays, teachers even get so creative by embracing freelance teaching jobs, private home tutoring and sale of video courses online so as to maximize their income instead of only focusing on their regular day teaching job.
Contrary to popular belief, teachers are not poor people, living a modest life doesn't always mean that one is poor. If you are a teacher, embrace your teaching profession wholeheartedly and have it at the back of your mind that the world is sane and knowledgeable because of you. YOU ARE ALWAYS ADMIRED AND RESPECTED.
