Social Media Tax !!! Are you ready for it ???
Yeah you just heard it right SMT i am not talking about Smart media tokens of steemit but talking about the tax which is levied on the usage of social media platform like facebook,Twitter and many more in Uganda.
Yes this is for real if you don't believe me you can search about it your mind will be blown away just like my does hahha but that's not all.
The president of Uganda Yoweri Museveni came up with this bill because he feels like that social media encourages "gossip," which cost country a lot and they have to pay heavy money to outside countries.
This tax will be applicable on the usage of social media about 200 shillings (5 US cents) will be charged per day
Well many will think he may be right or wrong that's an other debate to look up but think about this getting implemented in your country what your first reaction would be??
