Hello Steemians,

Each and every day of our daily work, we struggle to finish our jobs before the day ends. We want to meet the dateline before going back home so that we will have that peace of mind and coming back tomorrow repeating the same thing over and over again. Before realizing that work is just another daily chore repeating endlessly. We will realize work will only finish we retire.

But don't feel so gloomy and struggle with your everyday battle with work. Just in case you might feel alone, don't be! We are on the same boat of corporate life. Experiencing an endless task is just another challenge we have to face. It's a war we can never win but a battle we can fight! I'm here to give you my 5 simple tips to stay organized at work. It worked for me and I really hope that it will work for you too!

Wanna Stay Organized? Here's how!

5 Simple Tips to Stay Organized

Being organized helps us to be productive and ultimately achieve a small victory we can be proud of. It might be small, yet when accumulated, will bring one step closer to our ultimate daily objectives, which is to accomplish our job!

Tips 1 - Keep the workplace clean and tidy

You might be thinking now, how can clean and tidy help with being organized? How can be clean and tidy help to accomplish our task?
Here's why. At home, your room represents who you are. The same principle applies to your work. Your workstation is the representation of who you are. Keeping your workplace tidy and clean tells yourself and the people around you that you can really multitask really well. My rule about being tidy and clean is, stick the same things accordingly. Paper with paper, stationary with stationary and trash with trash. Keep them grouped accordingly. Don't mix them. Otherwise, you will mix everything and end up getting confused.

Tips 2 - Make Simple To-Do Lists

It's important to know what you want to do now and what you want to do later. Don't mix up what you want to accomplish today and what you want to settle by tomorrow. Know what's important. Do a very simple To-Do list perhaps with the date you want to finish it. Don't make too many lists otherwise, there won't be any space to complete it.

Tips 3 - Time Management

Cut any crap jobs upon doing your task. When I say cut the crap jobs I mean stop bullshitting with your fellow workmates. Learn to appreciate even the smallest of seconds. Know which task is the most important one, followed by the least important. Do delegate job which is not for you to do.

Tips 4 - Keep & Store

I understand data and information is the most valuable things in an organization. We cannot afford to throw the papers and files even it is 10 years back. Who knows we might need it someday right? I surely understand this and I know how important it is not to simply throw anything from our offices. Even a paper we ripped and thrown in the dustbin. My tips here is to keep and store. Make sure any papers and files you have done doing, keep it organized! Find a space specifically just for these. Be sure to label them neatly. Same goes to the files in the computer. Be sure to keep them organized in your computer. How hard can it be to create and name a file properly? Rule of thumb, don't skip any of these. Do it immediately before they pile up. Once you do pile it up, you will end up realizing that it is too much and simply keep it aside. Until one day, it has become a load of jobs to finish. So, do it immediately!

Tips 5 - Use Technology (Apps)

Technology has by far helped us a lot with our daily lives. Why don't we use it in our jobs to right? Find an app specifically is easy to use and can help you stay ahead of your schedule. There are tonnes of apps you can rely on. Find one that suits you. I'm a Google enthusiast so I will definitely suggest you with Google Keep or Google Task. For me, it's the easiest to use and the best thing is you are able to link them to all of your Google accounts.

With that said and done, those are the 5 Simple Tips to Stay Organized at Work. I really hope that it will be beneficial for you. Be organized and have a peace of mind at home. Organized work will also give you some more time at home to do other things like making this post.

You also can apply this tips in your home. The more time you save means the more time you have with your family or perhaps more time on Steem.

Good Luck!
