What is Language and Internet?

Language and Internet is the language that is peculiar to cyberspace, or the realm of electronic communication. The internet is one of the most outstanding and most effective form of communication these days as a result of rapid technological advancements. Communication over the internet is easy as it employs less use of words - words can be abbreviated. Users of the Language of the internet are called 'Netizens', that is a regular Citizen of the Internet.

The Language of the Internet is commonly used in electronic mail, Internet chat rooms, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, Imo, Baddo which allow computer users to communicate with each other in real time; and in text messages sent between cellular phones using the short message service, or SMS.

One of the important feature of Internet Language is the use of acronyms, as it makes communication snappy and interesting, as oppose to the long formal, sometimes, boring official kind of interaction in other platforms. So, many acronyms are related to all the social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and so on.
