Dictionary.com Doing Its Best to be Political Though No One Asked
Dictionary.com going political again. I have less problem with the definition than I do with the suggestion it's for everyone.
Reasonable objections include:
- What constitutes equal rights?
- What do activists spend majority of their time on?
- Do modern "feminists" hate men?
When Dictionary.com says "it's for everyone," it goes beyond it's role as a dictionary and enters the world of politics.
Many don't associate with the feminist label because they do not wish to associate with activists who have a skewed definition of equality.
