Word Poetry Challenge #12 : Sunshine

The abandoned house lay still,
As the sun rays slowly crept away.

Inch by Inch,
They retreated into the night.

Leaving no light,
Only darkness began.

The stillness in the house,
No more a state of action.

Them evil entities,
Crept out from their crevices.

They were let loose,
And set upon the world.

For the night was young,
And lay inviting.

Twelve hours unto the night,
Crept over the horizon,
Again the powerful rays,
Of the sun that they feared.

They ran amok,
They ran back,
They ran to hide,
For it was only sun that they feared.
