Word Poetry Challenge #2 : Blue Sky
You may be above the blue sky
That I couldn’t touch because so high
But I could reach out of my sight
Having you in my dream every night
When morning comes before sunrise
When the dawn comes after midnight
I’ll open the window to let you in
And make us dwell our hearts within
Now that I'm awake my eyes can see
The beauty of the day that you bring into me
How I wish that you will stay
In my loving arms and make me happy
How I wish that there are no evenings
No sunsets, no darkness
But as you say after night is a new day
So I hope that after darkness may the light arise
Lord please hear me as I pray
That tomorrow I could see the clouds during the day
A clouds where I could ride and fly
To my dreams in life as high as the sky.
