Close your eyes
What do you see
Do you see vivid colors
Colors of me
What does blue smell
Turquoise feel
Can you touch the yellow
With your toes and heel
Do you remember
How green met you
Was it from the past
Or completely new
Recalling green
As it was yesterday
Lingers with you
As a warm getaway
Scared if green leaves
You hold on tight
Without fail you are sure
Your actions are right
You don't want it to go
You beg please stay
"This green is forever mine"
I hear you say
But as it fades away
Out of your sleeves
You breathe in the hope
For new green leaves
