ABUSIVE MARRIAGE
I wonder why some women will be praying and fasting to remain in their abusive marriage all because of our culture and what people say of them, some women lost their self esteem and confidence all in the name of marriage, some women has die in the process of protecting their abusive spouse. Maybe these women don't understand that broken marriage is far better than broken life and a lot of women has been sent to untimely grave because of what the society will say.

Most women prefer to die in an abusive and unhappy relationship because of our culture. Once you are divorced, anything you do is abnormal, to the society, there's a motive for your all your action.
If you are a friend with married woman, they will say that your motive is to destroy her home as you've destroyed yours,the society will say that you are proud,arrogant and not submissive to your husband because you have a job that pay your bills and you are independent even without having an idea of what could have caused your separation.
They will take you as the loose type, if you are the going out type, that loves going to party.
If you are the fashionista type, who always wear what is invoke, it means you are not ashamed and you dress for attention.

If you don't party, you are the indoor type, it means you are a sadist and you are not happy celebrating other people's victory.It is a big crime if you are being nice to the opposite sex, it means you are flirting.
If you ask people for help, their response is always "why didn't you keep your husband and help yourself in time like this?.
It's sadden when people reason in this manner, it's never any woman choice to have a broken home and a broken heart, before I woman can file for divorce or sign a divorce papers, she must have been in a loveless and painful marriage ,she must have been suffering from countless judgement, character assassination, stigmatization, emotional upheaval, physical assault, psychological rollercoaster, lack of funds ,confusion, pain, tears and mental illness and if she decides to leave the jungle and embrace freedom, people will turn their back and label such woman.
The only time people believe you are normal is when you allow your abusive spouse to turn you into a psychiatry patient.
You must bear emotional, psychological, sexual and infidelity before you can be seen as normal woman with the Mrs prefix .until people support each other going through this, until woman help their fellow woman to heal through this phase and so they can have the courage to love again. Love is beautiful until people acknowledge the fact that no woman ever goes into marriage with a plan of quitting in some years, we all dream of happy home.
