STRONG WOMAN
If you know me you probably know how much I value a woman , still in the mood of celebrating women woke up and decided to pen this down. Dedicated to all @ladiesofsteemit, I love you all.
She’s a woman,
She’s strong,
her unseen strength is what keeps her going,
She hides her pain from the world,
She has the brightest smile,
Loudest laugh,
To the world, it seems like she is living life to the fullest,
But, no one knows that…
behind her happiness,
there’s sadness in her heart,
behind that smile,
is a broken heart,
behind that laugh,
is a silent cry,
behind that smile,
lies so many unanswered questions,
behind that loud laugh,
are silent wishes,
she wakes up everyday,
with a new hope of things getting better,
hoping that one day,
there will be no pretence behind her smile,
no pretence behind her laugh,
no pretence behind the happiness she shows the world,
she is a strong woman,
no one really knows what she is going through……
Women are actually stronger than we male. They are faced with tough challenges in life, yet they still tend to keel strong to survive in the middle of the storm just to see us smile back and see that we are happy while they are sadden inside. I cherish them so much.
It takes a conscious male @aydayodeji, to recognise and honour the value of our women sisters - thank you.
