My fellow overconfident, patriotic and ignorant Americans... and to whom it may concern,

Hopefully by bringing awareness to this topic we can defeat it by connecting with each other through knowledge.

I've gotta admit, months ago I would've considered myself as patriotic for the "greatest country in the world". I've been living in the USA my whole life and the biased textbooks from high school have never shown me this perspective. How could I be cooking burgers and waving around my $14 American flag made in China with a smile on my face and a beer in my hand without thinking rationally? Oh wait, I'm drinking beer.
