Does this chart make you wonder if ticket prices are too high for WNBA?

There's a bit of a chicken / egg problem here, but WNBA revenue is 0.6% of what the NBA is bringing in, their viewership is 3.3% of the NBA's, and yet ticket prices are still half what you'd pay to go to an NBA game?

Maybe lowering ticket prices would at least get more viewers to come... Though, it still can't get them to excitedly rave about their experience to their friends, so who knows.

My layman's theory here is that the first order problem is attendance. More people need to go to games, get hyped, and tell their friends to go.

The second order problem is probably finding ways to make going to WNBA games way more exciting and fun for everyone. Hard to do that without a budget, but the budget gets easier to procure when lots of people are coming out already.

I could be wrong though. Maybe they should keep whatever profitability they have now and funnel those profits into elevating the show, this encouraging more viewers to care for that reason.
