Moth'erfly On Daisy
What's a "moth'erfly" you ask? It is one of those critters that flutters past and you can't tell at a glance whether that's a moth or a butterfly. This one was kind enough to linger long enough for positive ID, they are not always so considerate.
It seems I am not so great at following directions... the WIW contest rules said "flowers" and I posted a picture of a flower. Fortunately, @dmcamera did not set the hounds upon me to be torn limb from limb, choosing instead to ever-so-sweetly point out my error. Here is my second attempt to submit an entry into this challenge and actually follow the rules! Photos taken with Fuji Fine Pix S8300 yesterday.
Top photo is my entry into the #wiwcontest hosted by @dmcamera.
The daisies are starting to bloom, marking the change from spring to summer in my mind. I really prefer photographing flowers alive. I like wildflowers best, although garden flowers can be quite exotic also. I just always feel a little sad for picked flowers, making them not quite as lovely to me. These daisies got pushed together a bit to try to get a large white area, but no daisy got picked. Not even a petal plucked, I am confident "she loves me," no need to go killing flowers over it.
This is the little patch in situ, it was really a beautiful little scene. Could not have asked for a prettier day!
As I walked over to start taking pictures, I saw a little moth fly by and I clicked. I am really pleased with how that shot turned out! Not enough white for the contest, but still worth sharing!
Then my little friend stopped for a snack and I got a really nice shot of him!
I don't think it is really fair that the butterflies get all the pretty colors so let me help this moth out just a bit, jazz up the outfit with a few #funkyedits.
Thanks to @dmcamera for hosting this challenge, and THANK YOU for visiting my blog!

I love the photos of the daisies in situ! They are so pretty and definitely say summer is here. Your little buddies are beautiful too. I am glad they cooperated so nicely!
😁 thank you!
