Wiwcontest - SHILLONG THE SCOTLAND OF THE EAST
This is my first entry for this weeks contest. This photo was taken in one of the popular tourist spots in Shillong, Umiam Lake. The weather was grim and rainy.
Due to its picturesque, panoramic setting, surrounded by the lush and lofty East Khasi Hills, Umiam Lake is often compared with the beautiful and mesmerizing Lakes of Scotland. The lake also features a beautiful garden named Lum Nehru Park, near its shores that add to its charms.Enjoy this beauty
