Witness Voting

I am ashamed to admit that even being one month shy of being a year old steemian, I haven't achieved or done enough. This may be because I knew nothing about blockchain before falling in love with this community.

I have been using my free time to try and catch up on a site I still feel left so far behind. Considering I am a single mum who is back to school and no actual stable income, my time here is limited.

That said, I am now sort of feeling less guilty saying it's time I am voting for my witnesses.

After colliding with random beneficial reads and asking around in #generalchat, I understood the roles witnesses play on Steemit. They are this community pillars or chosen blockchain soldiers who do their best to keep order and balance in my own opinion.

Most are known to support minnows projects and individuals like myself.

Projects like @ocd and @minnowbooster (ran by @reggaemuffin) are among those I have personally benefitted from. For a minnow, their support is essential to boost my growth and @ocd tops that with the so needed exposure! The highest I have ever earned on a post came through their support :).

I feel my third vote belongs to @followbtcnews for his enabling steem chat to keep running and allow so many connections to be made on a daily basis. The chat also houses the #help channel manned by people such as @drakos who have every answer to any question one may have.

I use Block Trades to send bitcoin to local traders in exchange for local currency and not once have I ever had issues. Also, their support has trickled down to me so @blocktrades has my vote.

Then the amazing @pharesim for his endless support and for being among the witnesses who are unafraid of penning down their thoughts. Something I have noticed in @themarkymark too among others.

I added these witnesses after a bunch of good friends vouched for their efforts. This was followed by a few good reads on why they sought to be witnesses. I can only summarize it with a few thoughts... Impressive work, thank you for what you do for this community. All of you :)
