TODAY: Witness Chat in the Steemit Ramble - 11am EDT / 3pm UTC
The fourth in a series of witness chats takes place this morning in the Steemit Ramble discord. All Witnesses, regardless of their rank, are invited to attend for a discussion with the community.
The chat starts at 11am EDT / 3pm UTC. Hop in to the Steemit Ramble to take part. The link should take you to the #voice-chat-text channel and then just join the Pimp Your Post Thursday voice channel and you’re ready to go.
There seems to be an increase in awareness and interaction about witnesses in the community. I’m seeing an increase in communication from the witnesses not only through blogs but them participating in discussions on Discord.
Dialogue is a great way to get to know people. We’re all part of the community. We entrust witnesses to work for the good of the community particularly when they reach the top twenty and are involved in approving or rejecting hardforks.
While not technically required as witnesses, most of the witnesses are involved in projects benefiting the blockchain either from the technical or from the community side. It’s important for the community to know about the witness’s work. We can then support their work through choosing to vote.
Every Steemian has 30 votes to distribute among the currently 130 or so active witnesses. If you haven’t voted, you need to. If you have, review your votes regularly to be sure you’re voting for active witnesses and witnesses engaged in ways you support.
Come to the chat and learn about those witnesses who attend.
At the last chat on May 19th the following witnesses attended:
@ats-witness @abh12345#9343 (@steemcommunity) @crimsonclad (@followbtcnews) @FollowBtcNews @TimCliff @jackmiller @rhondak (@noblewitness) @whosthekitchenfairy @quochuy @ura soul @anarcho-andrei (@noblewitness) @SirCork (@noblewitness) @enginewitty @drakos @aggroed @castellano
Hoping to see all those and more attend today.
See you there.
Team Good Alpaca loves this post! Nomnomnom!
I'm glad I was able to join the show today!
I didn't catch all of it live but was happy to catch the tail of it... it's nice to see so many people attending and participating
