RE: Witness Update @jackmiller, 05 May 2018: "Sharing Thoughts & Seeking Advice"

Great update @jackmiller! What happens if a witness mutes someone who voted for them? Will their vote be released?

After seeing the influence @freedom has in the top 20 some research seemed in order. A good source claims it is a secondary account of @ned.

Now @ned has as rightful a stake as anyone on this platform yet the conflict of interest of STINC's fork approvals is what it is. It would be nice if witnesses could refuse support from such questionable conflict of interests without muting them. 😎

That said it looks like you could use my minnow support a lot more than @ausbitbank.

Releasing votes from inactive witness accounts should become a grassroots movement forged with a voting block. This was sketched out a bit in an old blog post of mine.

There's no way to prevent someone voting for you, neither up- nor downvotes, and neither votes on posts nor on witnesses.

Thanks for clarifying that, @pharesim. Guess the concept of refusing votes is not something likely to jump into a developer's mind. 😎
