Well, no doubt you can get more steem with the funds than you can paying for a server. But:

Have you updated your witness using the update_witness command ?
Because you are grayed out because your signing key has been disabled, re-enable it by updating your witness..

My backup witness is idnit and it is happily signing 4 blocks a day at #64. So, 0.95 steem 4 times a day :)
