Yensesa Witness Report 2018/05/21
Is reporting time again and I am here to update the community what we have been doing so far on the witness side of things.
Since we witnessed our first block on 2018-05-03, we have since then witness 8 more blocks, making a total of 9 blocks.
With our current position of #161 we are able to witness 1 block every 2 days. Hopefully with enough support from the community, from those who love what we are doing we will be able to climb up a little more so we can use our witness rewards to support the African community.
How do we support the Steem community
Yensesa Exchange : The first Steem/SBD to fiat exchange for the African Community. This makes it easy for Steemians in Ghana to exchange our Steem to fiat using the existing mobile money infrastructure. Most people lose a lot of money trying to convert Steem to fiat by converting to other crytos and moving it through multiple trading platforms before they are able to cash out. With https://yensesa.com/ you can directly exchange your Steem / SBD to fiat. We will be expanding this across Nigerian, Kenya, Uganda and South Africa very soon.
Yensesa Basic Income : This project is to help at least about 60% of Africans that are on Steem to be able to get $5 upvote per day to support themselves. This is $150 per month which is a good basic income for someone joining Steem and working hard with quality content. This also gives us the power to be able to say NO to corrupt governments. Because with a basic income we can at least live on that this will also motivate more people from Africa to join Steem as it will be a source of income for them. This is mostly where our witness rewards will be going into, to boost our voting power to be able to support the community.
