First things first: Peerplays Witness Update!

I have fully migrated my main witness node to a full dedicated server! (Explanation Later)

For now lets see the specs, since they changed from my latest update post:

• CPU: Intel i7 SkyLake (4c/8t)
• RAM: 64GB DDR4
• Disk: 2x 500GB SSDs
• Location: Germany
• Network: 1gbit/s 

This is obviously a major upgrade for firecrab-witness in case you missed my original proposal and upgrades (1, 2)! So by now you're probably thinking "Why?". Well that's because I am now running TWO witnesses on my dedicated server! I have been fluctuating in the ranks of Peerplays Witnesses, but I can say I am 1/21 witnesses without a missed block, and I am on top of my main and backup servers almost all the time. I even have remote SSH on my iPhone just in case something happens and I need to get in on the go :)

I have been very active in the Peerplays community recently and have been taking all the necessary steps to ensure that I am an extremely reliable witness to the network. I have really enjoyed everything I have learned in the process and all of the great people I have met along the way, so much in fact that I want to 're-open' my arms to the steemit community as a witness!

Before I beg for your votes, i'll give you a brief history lesson.

As you can see from my steemit profile, I have been here since June of 2016. I have been here since nearly the beginning, and of course we all know what a wild ride it has been so far! I was just getting into cryptocurrencies whenever I heard about steemit. I started engaging the community and developing small tools (Random Steemit, Steem Comparison, Etc.) to help the community get underway. I invested a lot of my savings into Steem Power, and I have never touched it since, even after seeing my $1000+ go down to a measly $100-150. "Yeah, Ok! So did a lot of other people!" you say... I know! We've all been hanging in this together, that's exactly what i'm saying :)

So what's my point? I'm still here. I am dedicated to the blockchain, and I want to prove that to you!

OK, prove it.

When steemit came online, I had no clue what it meant. I nearly missed the steemit train, I did miss the Bitshares train, but i was right on time for the Peerplays train. During most of that time, all of my blockchain work was in the very small amount of free time I had.

I have had a lot going on in the past 2-3 years that has kept me very busy, including the birth of my daughter. I've had to learn how to quickly "Grow-up" (I'm 23), balance a full-time job as a Software Developer at a Mental Health & Addiction Center, learn how to lay down the tracks for my families future to ensure them a happy life, find time to engage in communities and expand my outreach, and plenty of other things to list. All of those things and many more have all contributed to the place that I am in my life currently, and honestly I couldn't be more excited for our future. 

I am now involved in several really awesome new and upcoming projects, but I want to be more heavily involved than where I am today. I have been riding the shirt tail of VIVA for over a year now, I have been involved in a handful of other small various crypto projects, and I have finally landed a witness spot in what I think will be one of the biggest blockchain projects in the next few years. I want to fully submerge into the world of blockchain, and help as many people along the way as I can. How can I do this with a full-time job, and as the only source of income for my family? Not very easily. Which brings me to my next thing on the list...

Yes. That's all i'm asking you to do :)

No, I'm not running for Congressman or POTUS (Although I think any of us could at this point and it would be an improvement). I'm running for Witness! Since I am already an active witness on Peerplays, you can see my dedication and performance on the network, albeit it's not much of a network just yet. I ensure you that I will continue to have the same drive and dedication to the STEEM network as I do the Peerplays Network (After all, I am more invested in STEEM than PPY).

My end goal here is probably pretty clear, but let me clarify a few more things first since you have read this far. 

You noticed I said I am the only source of income for my family. Of course this is temporary, but it was planned this way. My wife is an amazing stay-at-home mom going to school to be a Child Birth Educator. She has less than a year left before finishing school, with plans on getting several other certifications within that time or shortly after, ultimately leading her to be a midwife. My wife want's to help as many people as she can on her journey through life too, that's partly why we are married :) 

My goal is to become a witness for both networks to supplement some of our income, and along with some other income from blockchain projects, I hope to be able to switch to a full time blockchain-project-supporter-er. There isn't really a better title, since I want to be up to my neck in many different blockchain avenues, including healthcare. I am developing some really cool blockchain applications, and one of which will be a modular solution to the horrific "blockchain customer support" field (or lack thereof). What crypto company do you know that has a decent/good customer support? Virtually none. I plan on changing that in the near future though :)

Being a full time witness to 2 separate networks will ensure my time and dedication is put to full use, fully expanding my reach and knowledge, and creating some amazing applications at both large and small scale. All I am asking from you is to put your trust in me so I can fully dedicate my time to supporting your network(s), and continually improving the blockchain world. I am also always looking for fun projects to collaborate on, so if you have any good idea's and are just looking for help, reach out to me!
