Greeting,
The last year was surely hectic, witnesses had to build new and sustainable infrastructures from the ground, POs did their best to introduce new projects/initiatives, and key members of the community did an amazing job creating and building new communities. We are well aware that this was not easy, and a lot of effort and resources were needed to make all the changes possible. We were also pleased to see that Steemit Inc decided to get deeply involved in the community in addition to the development and introduction of new ways for people to get rewarded for their works.
Our idea of community incubation lays in the importance of providing an environment for people that is pleasant and agreeable, the monetary aspect also plays a role since it incentivizes the production of artistic value on the chain. Then both investors and POs will have the freedom to try and monetize this concentration of brains as they please, but for this to happen there must be more than taking care of the social aspect. There are other challenging aspects that must complement the social aspect since having a community alone will not solve the architectural and economic challenges that are facing the Steem blockchain.
We are glad to be part of the Steem community, some of you are already aware that we have introduced a major update to ecosynthesizer. We are also planning to shift our attention to Steem Sentinels and finally focus on providing a functional anti-phishing mechanism for the Steem blockchain in addition to more premium features to the community. Steem can be challenging for developers since they will have to learn a lot of things and get their way around bugs that are not fixed, or fixes that are not officially documented. One of our new talented and dedicated developer Jose Alejandro Demarzo Montero who is part of the team working on Ecosynthesizer did not imagine what is waiting for him because he felt that even though he was experienced with full-stack development, working on Steem was a completely new learning experience for him. There is indeed a learning curve that will face any new developer who wants to work on projects related to the Steem blokchain, this is why we believe that it is really important to provide an attractive end goal that could lead more developers and POs to get involved with Steem.
In the end, we want to thank the community for putting so much trust in us. We will always stand with what is right and make sure that the community will invariably play a pivotal role in the development and future of the Steem blockchain.
