I would like to run a review on some steemit witnesses

This is with the intention of bringing to the notice of all and also reminding every steemian about steemit witnesses, their duties/importance, your duty toward them and how to vote for a witness.

Today i will like to run a review on one of the most active, always available and easily reachable steemit witness. He is always available on steemit.chat

Before i introduce the steemit witness for today, i please allow me to tell you about steemit witness.

A steemit witness can be any steemian who contribute to the growth and development.
A steemit witness is said to be the blood flowing through the veins of steemit website. If you love steemit.com then it's very important you vote for a witness. You don't just vote a witness... Vote a witness who is very committed and is able to represent you well.

WHAT IS A STEEMIT WITNESSES?

A steemit witness simply put is a steemian who runs a steemit witness server! Steemit witness server is a dedicated server for processing blocks on steemit. It may interest you to know that the steemit website you see it's just a well designed website that runs on Steem! The witnesses process and help in the smooth and steady running of the Steem network.

WHAT ARE THE DUTIES OF A WITNESS?

Just like i have been curious to know as a newbie, am sure there are others like me who asks same question. The reliabilities of a witnesses is very crucial to the sustainability of Steem network. A witness does the following

• process blocks (transactions made on the blockchain)
• regulates the price of Steem and sbd on the Steem blockchain
• make decisions on what to add or remove

These are but a few things the witnesses do for the blockchain and they are worth commending.

There are many steemians who run the witness server but am picking the best of them all for in my personal opinion.

One of those is @drakos! He is one of the witnesses i love. Reasons are because he has been very helpful not only by running the witness server, he also help in the development of steemit through his personal interaction with anyone who comes to him. He is always available on steemit.chat.
