FollowBtcNews Witness update-MSP Website, New App Development, Crushing Blocks-7-22-2017
It’s been a great week, with a lot of work accomplished. FollowBtcNews witness has upgraded to 19.1 . I am sure you all noticed the bandwidth issue we had this past week, and a fix was implemented and we updated the same day the 19.1 update was available on Github
We are currently averaging 4 blocks per day,as seen in above picture.
We are currently in position number 70. Thanks to all the voters!!!
We have also setup a seed node to help the Steem blockchain now at seed.followbtcnews.com
The specs for the seed node server are as follows:
16GB RAM
4 cores of a Xeon
200GB HDD
1gbit/s network
based in North Carolina/USA
seed.followbtcnews.com:2001
This past week we also setup a website on a server we provide at http://minnowsupportproject.com
@crimsonclad and I put this up as an official website for the Minnow Support Project ran by @aggroed @someguy123 @ausbitbank and @teamsteem
I would also like to mention that @timcliff was kind enough to make a large delegation to MSP this week and also is listed as a MSP supporter in the P.A.L. discord channel at https://discord.gg/mTYGsY3
We also received a MSP Medal Of Honor award from @minnowsupport this week for our contributions to the MSP. https://steemit.com/minnowsupportproject/@minnowsupport/the-second-minnow-support-project-medal-of-honor
As stated in our Witness introduction, we will be using 50% of witness proceeds to help support Steemit related projects. We have 2 apps being built right now that are close to being finished and will announce more when ready.
I am very excited to be getting things done. I can’t wait till you guys see what we have be doing.. We are building tools that will help ALL Steemit users.
