Witness clayop update 2017/07/08
Steem Dollar is now around a dollar! ($0.98 at the moment).
Since the price is slightly lower than a dollar, I cautiously increased my APR to 1.0%. If the price is over $1.00 again, I will reduce back the APR to 0%.
If SBD price sidesteps around at $1.00, I will consider to unapprove witnesses who are publishing high feed premiums.

Whats the advantage by the way if sbd will always stay at a dollar price?
It is for what SBD was created, to have a parity in value with the dollar. Why parity with Dollar and not with Gold or Bitcoin? (question I made to Ned when I start on Steemit almost a year ago, even if I kind of knew the answer already) Because is what no-crypto people know as "normal money" making it more familiar for them.
Does it harm steemit economy if SBD will value more than a dollar?
Hmmm as far as I know, not really but it was created for to have the "same" value. Why should have more?
@clayop - Hmmm. Interesting strategy outlined by you. As a minnow, I am still experimenting with various things related to SBD and APR etc. I appreciate the honest witness work being put in by you and deplore the witnesses publishing misleading high feed premiums. Thanks. Upvoted

Lately steem dollar and steem have decreased significantly to dollar ($). But I do not know the cause of the decline of the two coins, I see the impact of the decline greatly affects the exchange rate. Thank you for sharing, happy to follow you @clayop
