My fellow Steemians,
Welcome to my weekly witness update. This is something I do every Friday as some other witnesses do too. Hopefully, this will keep my followers and the community up-to-date with what I've been up to. Ultimately, I hope I may gain your witness approval vote.
No feedback yet on my development work for adding the banner image and a table of contents to the Steemit Welcome page (Welcome to Steemit Page - Banner and TOC Developed and Submitted). The pull request is at Add Banner and TOC to the "Welcome to Steemit" Page #1130.
Posted about Steemit's updated WebSockets URL at [Notice] - Steemit's WebSockets URL has Changed!. This is important for those using their server for scripts and apps. This new URL is also updated in my earlier post List of Public Steem Full API Nodes, and Example Usage.
Moved to a new setup for my witness node after seeing random block misses since the beginning of the year. It seems to be a lot more stable now but I will be monitoring it closely as always.
The Steemit.com website got a new update with many features and bug fixes! @ausbitbank has a detailed listing in his post Release notes for Steemit version 0.1.170216.

Very nice work. I'm hoping to get a full node up and running soon. Ugh, I've been slacking on the witness posts :/
