Donovan’s Christmas Wish
Donovan had a world all his own,
Where unicorns and monsters roam,
Dragons give chase,
To pirates in space,
He loves it when his sword sings,
And flying high on gryphons wings,
When Donovan sleeps,
He no longer weeps,
When Christmas comes he asks for naught,
Except for maybe a protective robot,
To protect he and his mother,
From an abusive father,
Donovan knows that when he gets older,
He will not be like his father, he will be bolder
To save those with no voice,
Is really his only choice,
His one true wish,
Is to be like the man that fed many with fish.
