Be Alert
Matthew 24:50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
A faithful servant does what the master appoints him to do, especially in the absence of the master. Thus, faithfulness, honesty and integrity is best measured when one is alone. The Lord Jesus Christ is our Master and He sees, knows and understands everything happening around us. He even feel our pains. In the midst of pains, we are still expected to forge ahead and remain faithful to the Kingdom mandate of a holy living.
The Master shall come unannounced! Shall He meet us fighting against each other over church leadership? Shall He meet us in hatred, sought for vain glory, lust of the flesh or immorality? What are we doing now that if Jesus comes He'll be proud of us?
He shall come unannounced. Like the master of that servant in the scripture today, He shall judge based on what He meets us doing. Don't relent in your faithfulness to the Master's business, the rewards are worth any persecution. Keep loving and serving Jesus. Live in love towards people, for at the end you shall reap bountifully.

Dear Lord and Master, thank you for giving us another opportunity to live right. Please strengthen us more, that we shall run this race to the end in faithfulness to you, in Jesus name. Amen.
