Little Mikaela Shiffrin has been on skis pretty much since she could walk. She got to meet an idol of hers at a poster signing event. Heidi Voelker autographed her poster, “Dream big, Mikaela, and always be faster than the boys.” Wow!
In Sochi, Mikaela earned a Gold Medal in Slalom 20 days shy of her 19th birthday making her the youngest to ever do so.
