-24 and a cold start
It is minus 24 degrees now and I am just about to leave for work which means, I may be back in a few minutes since I am unsure if my car will start. I don't have an engine warmer which means once it gets to this temperature, it gets a bit touch and go, or 'not-go' as the case may be. So far, it has always started.
I should really have an engine warmer but I didn't take one when I bought the car new...8 years ago. Luckily it is a Honda and most of the time, they are pretty well bulletproof. These really cold days are pretty rare though but it was meant to get down to minus 30 a few hours ago and if it did that, I predict a non-starter.
Me session this morning will include meeting with @markos86 so perhaps he will be forgiving if I can't make it. Although, last week I had to cancel also because of a high fever. Let's see...

Had a bit of rain yesterday in Dubai but the weather is still good @ 24 degrees - goes beyond the 40 mark during the summer with our fair share of humidity. Amazing how over the years of moving here from Cairo my internal thermostat has regulated for both the heat and humidity. Have to admit I have grown to like the heat. A good friend of mine lives in Dubai but will freeze when he eventually returns to Finland :)
We all do when we go back - even if it is to the Cairo winter :)
I'm scared to return to Europe, more specifically Cyprus because of average winter temperature of 8 degrees. Celsius.

Hahha... am sure at-24 it wont start. Spend your time at home in a warm bed. You can get a nice cup of coffee or tea and enjoy yourself. Its early in the morning here and temperature is already 26C

My first car here was an old 89 civic. It didn't start one time but, it was -34 :D
Haha! No wonder it didn't start, even if it's a Honda! ;)..I have Civic right now, but it's a 2004.
