RE: Wine Time #9: Three Ultra-Romantic Wineries in Napa Valley (Just in Time for Valentine's Day!)

It's too bad I just quit drinking.

Wine is a much more intimate drinking experience to me. When you are sharing a bottle bottle with your drinking partner you can enjoy the onset and tastes at the same time.

I never enjoyed wine until moving to California and I finally went wine tasting. Plus I had to learn about different wines for my job so of course had no problem with that homework.

Well, I commend you for stopping if you really think you needed to do so. Sometimes even just a long term break to re-access one's relationship with it is important. Who knows, you might decide to return to it, or stay sober forever!

And yes, sharing a bottle with someone special (or just two glasses) can be really lovely, especially when thinking about in the "wine tasting" sense (flavors, aromas, pairings, etc.).
