Chateau ST Jean, Pinot Noir - Review
There are many advantages to living in California. One of them is being able to buy California wines a lot cheaper than what is paid around the country.
Bottles we paid $11.99 for eleven years ago in Florida, we can get here for $9.99, now without them being on sale.
Tonight, we tried a 2015 Chateau ST Jean, Pinot Noir from Sonoma County. It was okay.
I can't say I didn't like it. It really was just okay. Not really smooth, but not harsh either. The flavor was fine. It would be fine as a house red, but nothing that I'd go out of my way to buy again, but wouldn't refuse a glass if it was served at an event.
