Wildspark.me Update on Platform, Bounty's & Initiatives - A Block Of Cyrpto

Welcome to today’s edition of a Block of Crypto, my name is Paula and today we are going to talk about the current state of Wildspark.me

If you’re not familiar with Wildspark or if you don’t have an account yet, I do have a video showing you around, its called Introducing Wildspark.me, AMP altcoin by Synereo’ and you will find a link below this video so don’t forget to hop over and have a look.

Synereo does not have a ‘perfect’ reputation and the history I think I will cover is a different video, but what I have experienced in the last few weeks has been positive so I want to share some news and some initiatives that are being ran by the community.

First of all the weekly giveaway of 8000 amps is still on going. This is a giveaway ran by Synereo to reward curators that are doing their best to amp and spark videos. So if you have some AMPS to spend, get sparking.  You could win up to 3000 AMPs and I am not too sure for how much longer this bounty will be on.

This brings me onto a fantastic initiative that one of the slack community members started.  One of the recent winners of the amps giveaway, Obbly decided to spend his amps sparking videos for charities.  This means when the charity signs up they can collect the content creators rewards.  This is a really awesome way to give to charity so a big shout out and thanks to Obbly for this initiative.

Next is some fantastic news for me.  A few weeks ago I was approved as one of, if not the first content creator.  That means that anyone that sparks my content will be rewarding me with amps.  If you want to get approved, you will need to first have an account with Wildspark and second apply to be an approved creator.  Synereo will verify your channel with you and you will be given a simple code to add to your channel description. It’s that simple

Lastly I want to mention a well-timed announcement from the Synereo team. The slack channel had been quiet and to be honest it’s very hard to see the community growing.

But on the 13 Oct, the lads announced via slack and their blog, that they have hit their first major milestone.

 Now if you scroll down to the bottom of the blog post it reads

“The next challenge on WildSpark’s path is making it ready for prime-time. Developing the product beyond its minimal functionality and expanding the user base beyond its community of early adopters. Synereo will soon launch a WildSpark that everyone – not just the cryptocurrency community – can get excited about. In the following weeks, we will gradually unveil new features, each advancing WildSpark towards the mainstream-viable product it is to become in early 2018.”

And there is a nice picture of the road map showing you exactly where we are now.  This answered all of the burning questions I had.  I wanted to know where the heck we were on the road map.

Since then I have noted that the team have been more active on slack, which is and was very much needed.  They posted a second announcement on the 17 October after a productive meeting with Universal Music Vienna, so Wildsprak are hoping to onboard a load of musicians after that.
