7 Rescued Turtles Released Back To Wild!

"Best rescues are the ones where we are able to set them(the rescued species) free back to nature"

Today we were able to mark one such best rescue only and only with united efforts , strong follow up, hard work, dedication and our genuine concern for wildlife conservation

4 turtles from Mumbai and 3 turtles from Thane were rescued and admitted to Thane
Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals (SPCA) with different complications in the last month

3 out of the 4 from Mumbai batch had fishing hooks stuck in their oral cavity which were successfully operated by Dr. Dinesh Vinherkar from WCAWA two weeks ago and were recently declared fit to be released

The 3 from Thane batch had mild complications which were sorted with proper treatment and care after which they too were declared fit to go back to wild

All the 7 turtles were released back to their urban wild habitat in a lake at Thane by our wildlife team led by the DCF Deputy Conservator of Forests
