The markhor (Capra falconeri) is a large goat. It is found in woodland in the Western Himalayas of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Kashmir.
Markhor are 65 to 115 centimeters tall at the shoulder. They as a rule weigh from 40 to 110 kilograms. Females are a tan shading with a white underbelly and an example of high contrast on the legs. Guys are a lighter tan shading with a similar white underbelly and example on the legs. Guys likewise have a dark face and heaps of long white hide on their neck and chest which can become down to their knees. Markhor live in places 500 to 3500 meters (1,500 to 11,000 feet) high, where they eat grass, takes off. Markhor regularly remain on their back legs to achieve the best leaves of trees. Markhor are dynamic (move around additional) in the early morning and late evening. Females assemble in crowds (gatherings) of up to nine creatures. Guys generally live alone.
