Homes For Wildlife: The Three B's

Chances are pretty good that wildlife is in need of homes where you live, just as surely as homeless humans are. Between the hostile environment of cities, monocultred and pesticide-filled farmland, and "tidy lawns" in the suburbs with exactly 2" high Kentucky bluegrass and nary a dandelion to be found, it's not great out there for our animal friends trying to survive in this crazy world, Ilsa.
So here are some tutorials I found to build homes for our (beneficial to us too, if you needed a self interest reason) fellow Earthlings!

We have a bat that regularly visits our house. He flies through scooping up mosquitoes so he is welcome to visit. We have nicknamed him Erol. He loves to fly loop de loops in our living room! LOL I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but as long as he is eating insects, we don't care!
Oh my gosh. I love them for their bug eating, but be careful of him getting in your house; when I worked in an infectious disease unit, bats got brought up and I told the story of my sister's house constantly getting bats sneaking in from the attic. Two ID doctors freaked out about diseases, and telling me my sister should be checked and get shots and whatnot!
I saw the cutest little honey bees in my friend's yarden, yesterday. He's building them a non-honey-collection home.

Those little chocolates may have been my faves, too, @phoenixwren! I always liked those Cadbury's too.
These days I don't get that stuff much. I think that even European chocolate brands may have sold out to the BS here in America. Seems like the ingredients these days are atrocious. And I won't go near anything with palm oil!
These days I have so many food allergies, pretty anything I don't have to make from scratch that I can still eat is a treat. "Regular" groceries (as opposed to health food stores) are my " junk food stores" because there are like a half dozen or so safe things there I can eat. 😂
